How To Measure Kitchen

and its Cabinetry?

Measuring your kitchen sound very skillful but it isn’t. All you need is a few tools and instruction following mentality. We offer a free computerized kitchen design. However, it always helps if you do a little bit of homework before you come in. For example, how big is your kitchen or what size of kitchen cabinets do you need?

Before, placing an order for a kitchen or bathroom cabinets you need to know their sizes. Our cabinets come with a varieties of sizes. Cabinets of wrong size will not fit in to your existing place. Establish The Shape Of Your Kitchen

Kitchen can be in many different shape. Determine the shape of the kitchen.
Some of the most popular shapes are listed below.

Draw A Generic Kitchen Layout

We have established the shape of your kitchen,  now we have to draw a generic layout of your kitchen. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It will help us to identify your existing layout or the layout you prefer for your dream kitchen.

Add Some More Details

Great, we have the basic layout of your dream kitchen. Now we have to add some additional details to it. Such as, where’s the door, windows, openings, or any other feature?

Appliances and Utility Placement

Where is your drains and gas outlets? Or where is your stove and refrigerator going to be? You can add this sort of things to your sketch.

Measurements

Ok, we are nearly finished here. No take the measuring tape and start measuring your main walls, ceiling height, partial wall, door, windows etc. Once you have measured, you can write these don next to the relevant sketches or you can add some bullet-points at the bottom of the page.

Extra Details

Finally, add some extra details like, appliances. When you are measuring the appliances please make sure you take 3 dimensional measurement (Height, width, and depth).
